Denver Door Company

My Door Company is proud to announce our newest endeavor – Denver Door Company. Denver Door Company is our newest division that will focus entirely on handcrafted doors in standard sizes and dimensions. Through our work building custom handcrafted doors in the years past, My Door Company has always had a steady stream of business for units in standard sizes (3-0 x 6-8, 3-6 x 8-0, etc). In an effort to provide these standard units at more competitive prices we have created Denver Door Company. Denver Door Company will provide the same level of quality door units, in a few of our most popular styles and designs, all at a reasonable price. Small runs of each style will be produced to keep lead times short and prices low. And just like My Door Company, all doors built by Denver Door Company are made right here in the heart of our great state by Colorado’s proudest door craftsmen.

Visit www.DenverDoorCo.com for more door options and availability.

Though, of course, My Door Company is here to stay, so for all your custom handcrafted door needs stop by or send us email – we are here to help. Thanks for reading.

Holiday Specials

My Door Company is offering a holiday special on a few of our most popular doors – the designs pictured here all have a classic look and would fit great with a variety of styles of homes. Whether you have been considering a new door unit for your own home, or need to a find a gift for that person that has everything, My Door Company is the place for you. We are located in Palmer Lake, Colorado and build Colorado’s finest custom handcrafted doors

Not only are all of our doors made in Colorado, USA, but we use only the highest quality materials and processes to ensure our doors last a lifetime. All of our doors are built with the following -

  • Engineered stiles, rails, and panels (minimizes cracking and warping)
  • Made with real wood – no thin veneers
  • Heavy duty ball-bearing hinges (withstands weight of heavy duty door)
  • Quality weatherstripping – to maintain the best seal
  • Tempered insulated glass units (maintains highest R-value)
  • Adjustable wood-top threshold – with non-rot composite insert
  • Water resistant adhesive

Our holiday special applies to the four designs pictured here, built with Alder (Select or Knotty). Alder is a great stable wood species, with straight forward and simple grain patterns, so it stains nicely. The special applies to the door unit only, and not to shipping, installation, or finish.

Contact us for details, pricing, shipping details and lead times – we look forward to working with you.

Entry Door – Denver Remodel

Welcome back to My Door Company – builders of Colorado’s finest handcrafted doors. The door pictured here is from a recent door remodel right in the heart of Denver – we built the entire entry door unit, which includes the arched door, sidelites, and arched transom.  The previous door was a standard square-top fiberglass door, so the new unit with double arches is quite an impressive change.

The unit is Select Alder and overall about 10 ft tall – the door itself is 40 inches wide and 8 ft tall, as well 2 1/4 inches thick (weighing a little over 200 lbs.). Given the old door unit was a standard door with a modified jamb to fit the arched opening, this new door unit changes the whole look of the house – looks as if it is original.

Custom exterior doors, with or without arches like this one, can have a huge impact on the look and feel of a house. Not only will a new unit increase the value of your home, but anyone who walks through a heavy duty door will definitely take notice.

Thanks again for stopping by  - feel free to contact us for more info and details.
